However, broadcasters like Spain's @rtve , Irland's @rte , and the Netherlands' @AVROTROS , all demand Israel's exclusion or threaten to boycott, but they seem utterly out of sync with their viewers. Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't the Irish viewers give Israel 10 points? Spain gave 12, and the Netherlands awarded "douze points," despite the BDS movement and others pressuring Israel's singer—a Nova Festival attack survivor—to withdraw. Broadcasters appear disconnected, and we shouldn't ruin a show focused on diplomacy, diversity, and peace. How can we expect peace in the Middle East when some fight proxy wars in Europe?
