Nokia Lumia 900 and 610 models, which complement the existing models: 800 and 710 respectively. The phones that come with the window operating system, front camera and 4.3 inch screen goes on sale for only 575 Euros, 90 Euros above their most powerful model, Lumia 800. There is little arguing that Lumia 610 is more affordable smart phone, available with a price of 229 Euros and differs from the model 710 (305 Euros) in the processor. However, it does not record HD video. Nokia, which partnered with Microsoft to compete with Apple and Android, explained during the presentation of these models that both companies are working together to develop applications that make better use of the NFC chip, so far used as payment virtual. Nokia wants to present the best option between Windows Phone devices, not only for their construction and design, but also for the unique software. In addition, Nokia includes Maps, a GPS that works without an Internet connection, which can be used to get from one point to another using public transportation. Currently it is working in 14 Spanish cities, among which are Madrid, Barcelona, ??Seville and Valencia. Men det giver selvfølgelig mening. Selv om apps fik deres debut på telefonskærmen, er det i mange tilfælde på den større tablet-skærm, applikationen kan folde sig ud og give en bedre brugeroplevelse. Tablets browser derudad Men også uden for apps-universet har tablets fart på, viser en ny undersøgelse fra Adobe. Softwarefirmaet har analyseret 23 milliarder webbesøg hos 325 virksomheders hjemmesider, hvori indgik både antal besøg og tid tilbragt på siden. Det vil altså sige trafik via en browser og ikke apps. Her nogle af tallene. - webbesøg med tablets vokser 10 gange hurtigere end det tilsvarende tal for smartphones, da de kom på markedet - om et år vil webbesøg med tablets have overhalet smartphones - om to år vil 10 procent af verdens samlede webtrafik komme fra tablets Det var den ene tablet-front, smartphones. På den anden side har vi pc’en, der også kan føle tablet-ånde i nakken. Adobes tal fortæller, at browseroplevelsen via tablets i nogle tilfælde er på højde med en pc; i andre tilfælde, som shopping, kommer man stadig til kort. Pc’ens store fordel er selvfølgelig tastaturet, men ikke desto mindre forventes tablets at æde sig ind på pc-markedet i de kommende år. Mens vi venter på Windows 8 Det ser altså godt ud for tablet-plaformen, selv om det kun er to år siden, Steve Jobs introducerede den første iPad. Netop fordi denne produkttype stadig er i sin vorden, kan vi forvente endnu mere fart i de kommende år, af en række årsager. Softwarevirksomhederne vil i endnu højere grad kaste sig over platformen og udvikle løsninger, der bringer nye funktioner og endnu mere brugervenlighed med sig. Hvis man kan løse udfordringen med skærmtastaturet, ville man være nået meget langt, men det er nok for meget at håbe på. I øjeblikket dominerer Apples iPad markedet, men konkurrenterne bliver stadigt flere. Den aktuelt fremmeste konkurrent, Android, kan gøre det bedre på denne platform, og virksomheder som Samsung er klar til en langstrakt offensiv. Vi mangler stadig Microsoft på banen, men det sker senere på året, når softwaregiganten lancerer det med spænding imødesete Windows 8, som bla. kommer til at byde på en tablet-version. Det kan ikke undgå at sætte endnu mere fut i tablet-markedet. Indholdsproducenter som aviser og magasiner satser benhårdt på apps-tablet kombinationen, hvor man regner med, at indtjeningsmulighederne er bedre end på browsernettet. Endelig må vi ikke glemme brugerne, specielt de unge af slagsen. Når børn i dag bliver introduceret til teknologi, er den bedste måde en tablet og dens intuitive brugerflade. De små brugere vokser op og blive tablet-kunder. Jeg var skeptisk, da Apple introducerede sin iPad for to år siden. Markedet levnede ikke plads til en ny formfaktor, iPad risikerede at blive et nicheprodukt. Jeg tog fejl.
