Er jo som sagt, en stor Breezy fan. Et par måneder tilbage anskaffet jeg mig så FAME hoodien, som jeg synes var ret fresh og så fordi den var pisse billig på Ebay. Har en svaghed overfor sorte hoodies!

            <title>The problem with GAME?</title>
            <link>http://thisisbandit.com/2012/01/the-problem-with-game/</link>
            <description>
About a month ago I went to see ?GAME? when he performed yet another concert in Copenhagen and that was certainly quite an experience?

Let me start out by saying that this was honestly one of the best and most intense concerts I?ve ever been to! GAME&amp;#8217;s way of handling the crowd was amazing, and for people who are truly and deeply fans of his music (I?m not really), this must, without a doubt, have been one of the best experiences in their life. He constantly pulled people on stage, asked the crowd for song-wishes and did it in a very easy and mature way, for a west-coast &amp;#8220;gangster rapper&amp;#8221; at least.
For example, at one point a drunken guy jumped on stage trying to cop GAME?s cap which was on the DJ booth. GAME was of course surrounded by the Black Wall Street, who spent most of their time running around on the stage topless acting tough, and they obviously jumped the pure guy with punches and kicks. Somehow GAME managed to stop the situation before something went truly wrong and followed up doing this;

If you?ve ever been to a GAME concert you would know that he has a few things he almost always do, like drinking an entire bottle of what?s supposedly Grey Goose, or bringing half the crowd on stage at the same time, and well, this time he did all of that as well! This is what it looks like, when you actually tell the crowd to get on stage;

One of the guys he brought on stage was a 17-year-old kid wearing a t-shirt with a picture of himself and GAME from when he was 10 years old. He looked like a dedicated fan and he certainly was! He did the entire InfraRED text accapella with GAME, check it out;

So, this was obviously a concert with plenty of positive sides? but trust me, there were downsides as well!
My main issue with GAME is that he can?t let the beef with Curtis ?50 Cent? Jackson and the rest of G-Unit go. He spent so much time dissin? them and talking sh*t about them, while some of his absolute biggest hits, which had 50 cent on them, was playing in the background. I didn?t buy an expensive ticket to hear him talking about 50 cent, while some of my favorite GAME songs were actually being played.
To me he only made a fool of himself when he started dissin&amp;#8217; ?Fitty?. Not only is it pretty obvious that 50 Cent is one of the main reasons why GAME became something to begin with, secondly he is singing on several of his all time biggest hits, which are the ones people know him for. Last, GAME overall seemed very mature and calm with himself during the concert? I guess he wasn?t.

My main issue of the show weren?t even these immature actions from GAME; It was his crew!
The Black Wall Street, Money Gang or whatever they are called these days with a touch of Teyana Taylor was NOT a good way to start a concert. Yes, Teyana did take of her shirt after 2 minutes and all of the horny teenage boys went nuts (I see why), but musically she sucked. So did the other artist warming up for GAME, and it honestly didn?t set the mood for a great concert at all! Fortunately GAME did his thing, and I left all happy when the concert was over.

Overall GAME did very well, but he proved why I will never really become a fan of him. He has some good songs and he did a good performance, but he needs to get the smaller things together for him to become an actual rap star.
One of the good songs from his new album came out with a music video not a long time ago; I&amp;#8217;m guessing most of you know which one I?m talking about (it got hyped!);

What?s very typical for all good GAME songs is that there are other artists on them, and that the other artists are actually the ones making the songs as good as they are. Besides that he&amp;#8217;s sometimes trying to change his style lyrically to be like the featured artists on his track, for example in Martians Vs. Goblins (snatch up Rihanna and throw her in front of a f@cking train).
Now, you might wonder why people like myself then keep going to his concerts? Well, there?s a simple answer for that.

He keeps it real! Yes, he does let himself inspire by other rappers, but he is actually one of the few artists in the modern music industry who&amp;#8217;s sticking to his genre and doesn?t follow the pop/dance route and sell out, and that I really respect him for him!
Thumbs up for GAME
(Ed&amp;#8217;s note; DJ Premier made GAME&amp;#8217;s R.E.D album his choice of the most coveted hip hop album of 2011.)

            <title>Signifyin(g), også i Danmark</title>
            <link>http://mikkelvad.dk/2012/01/17/signifying-ogsa-i-danmark/</link>

&amp;nbsp;
Stougaard Petersen slår endvidere til lyd for en større æstetisk sensibilitet og forståelse i forskningen om hiphop, hvilket jeg finder ekstremt interessant og vigtigt.

            <title>Colored Gemstones The Beauty and Vigor of Colored Gemstones</title>
            <link>http://www.crystalnett.com/colored-gemstones-the-beauty-and-vigor-of-colored-gemstones</link>
            <description>

Gemstones come in a variety of shapes, colors and sizes. They are naturally occurring crystalline forms of some minerals. Precious and semi-precious stones used in jewelry making are specially cut and polished. Some beautiful rocks are also used to make attractive jewelry articles but they are not considered precious gems. The value of a stone is determined by a few factors including its hardness, luster and rarity. Many stones are naturally transparent; however, inclusions of fibrous minerals sometimes make them opaque. The value of diamonds is not measured in the same manner. Almost all stones are graded using the naked eye with the exception of diamond.Gems are classified as precious and semi-precious. Pearl is considered a precious stone in addition to diamond, ruby, sapphire, opal and emerald. Other stones like peridot, garnet, cat&amp;#8217;s eye and some others are commonly used in jewelry making. Some stones are very rare, for example black opal, apophyllite, epidote, fluorite, rhodizite, etc. These stones are expensive because they are seldom found. Rhodizite is a light yellow stone obtained from Madagascar and is available for $500/carat which is quite expensive. Rarity is one of the most desired qualities of stones.
Gemstones are identified by their chemical composition. The same gem can exhibit different colors because of addition of impurities but the basic chemical composition does not change. They also differ in their colors and hardness based on the location from where they are obtained. For example, emerald occurs in different shades of green. Some emeralds also exhibit bluish tint due to addition of some elements such as chromium. It is also known as a variety of beryl which is short for beryllium aluminum silicate. Aquamarine and morganite are also varieties of this mineral. Beryl exhibits a six-sided or hexagonal crystal shape and its transparency ranges from transparent to opaque.
The mineral quartz also occurs as many varieties including amethyst, rose quartz, chalcedony and citrine. It is found in white, purple and brown colors. It is also known as silicon dioxide or silica. Rose quartz is very beautiful and is often used for making attractive contemporary jewelry articles for women. Addition of titanium and iron to quartz imparts pale pink color to this mineral. Many gemstones occur as varieties of chalcedony including agate, carnelian, heliotrope, and chrysoprase. Agate is further categorized as pure agate, moss agate and onyx. Heliotrope is also known as bloodstone and is considered a mystical birthstone for the month of March.
Some organic materials are also considered as gemstones, such as amber. Amber is a resin and occurs in a beautiful yellow or orange color. It was used as a decorative item in ancient times. Handmade amber jewelry is still very much appreciated in all parts of the world. Cognac amber rings are exchanged on engagements as tokens of love and commitment. Antique amber rings and pendants are also very popular. You can find such a pendant for as low as $34 which is quite reasonable. Amber is often combined with other stones and crystals to enhance its beauty and vigor.

Is There Anyone In Virginia Who Buys Gemstones?
We Have alot of precious stones to sell and was wondering if anyone knew of any places in Virginia that buys gemstones.
Answer
You can contact the gem and mineral club nearest you. (Do a web search). I am a native Virginian and I know there are lots of lapidary societies across the state. If they won&amp;#8217;t buy them from you then they will surely know how to put you in contact with someone who does.
Also ask them about upcoming rock and mineral shows in your area. There are always loads of vendors who are looking to wheel and deal.

            <title>Snippet In Good Taste</title>
            <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/WebimaxSEOBlog/~3/5hQZCY4-4Pc/snippet-in-good-taste</link>
            <description>Yesterday, I urged you to snippet good.  Today, I want you to realize the potential of abuse; try to detect and neglect it.  Not too long ago, great posts on improved snippets and implementing them using Schema.org were posted.  Perhaps many Web masters took heed, realizing it was not very difficult to implement rich ones, using a variety of available formats.  Google encourages the use of rich snippets, as they aid browsers in securing desired information.
Shape it Up, Get Straight
However, the Web is not always a perfect place.  There is a dark side, a place where outlaw Web masters don shaded caps and attempt to manipulate browsers, a place where fake snippets are a reality.  Once Web masters realized snippets could be misused, an onslaught of unscrupulous implementation took hold.
But why, mad-black hatters, why the misuse?  Well, it&amp;#8217;s likely the notions of keyword stuffing (to ostensibly rank higher for desired terms) and fake reviews (to lure the attraction of unsuspecting consumers) were in mind.  Can you immediately apply fake snippets, hoping to game the system?  It&amp;#8217;s very likely.  However, we&amp;#8217;ve seen Google &amp;#8220;discipline&amp;#8221; Web masters before -no reason snippets and other SEO 2012 topics are not on Google&amp;#8217;s immediate agenda.
Go Forward, Move Ahead
My personal advice to Web masters:  Don&amp;#8217;t use SEO and online marketing initiatives in a rogue fashion.  Our industry doesn&amp;#8217;t offer shortcuts; it offers optimization, a way to enhance your online presentation of goods and services.  The sentiments of business ethics and reputation management do not ebb online; theoretically, an SE could be gamed, but what happens when consumers acknowledge your online exposure and snippets are just another variety of SPAM, not aligned with the quality of your products, services, and overall brand experience?  Burned consumers and competitors can contribute to universal-Web awareness with the help of a tweet or other social media post; is immediate increased rankings worth the doom of your brand?
It&amp;#8217;s Not Too Late?
Hopefully, I&amp;#8217;ve persuaded you from the dark side and helped you realize &amp;#8220;fake&amp;#8221; snippets are not worth your brand&amp;#8217;s time, but proper implementation is great for facilitating a better user experience.  As touched upon yesterday, there are a multitude of sites that can enrich available SERP information through snippets.  Consider a few example situations where snippets enhance browsing.
-          Craig Bradford included this image in his SEOmoz-Schema.org post, urging news sites to include snippets to help readers recruit more immediate information regarding single posts.  I see more and more sites embracing copywriting, producing industry-specific news.  Snippets are another way to grab browser attention and educate them.

-          Are you hosting an upcoming event?  Implement snippets to spread awareness about charities, festivals, concerts, business expos, etc.
-          Some readers judge a post by its author; enhance the SERP stats of popular site authors using rich snippets.  Include awards, social media stats, professional degrees, etc.
-          Ecommerce site often host scores of pages, all unique and vying for consumer attention.  Help browsers find desired services and products by listing additional, germane information into snippets.
 Thanks for reading.

            <link>http://thisisbandit.com/2012/01/2-weeks-2-much/</link>
            <description>
Having attended the Coachella music and arts festival in California for the last 2 years in a row, I?d like to consider myself something of a veteran (I do make the trip over from the UK after all). Last Friday I was hoping to make it 3 years in a row when tickets for the 2012 festival went on sale. Alas, after 3 hours of online queuing, I came away empty handed and none too pleased.
Not getting a ticket (the legit way) is annoying, but what I?d like to talk about was the bizarre decision Coachella?s organisers, Goldenvoice, made to hold the event over 2 separate weekends this year ? the same line up, the same arts and other attractions, but different people. The decision was made to hold the festival twice, over back to back weekends, with all of the headliners and other acts booked to play 2 weekends, in the exact same order.
Not exactly a ?green? move is it.

In credit to the organisers, this year?s line up is impressive.
They?ve pulled a rabbit out of the hat by getting Dr. Dre and Snoop together, Radiohead are one of the biggest bands on the planet, and French electro heads Justice are gearing up for a hotly anticipated first major festival set in years. Add that to a slew of up and comers that have the industry buzzing and you can understand why Coachella?s appeal has steadily grown overseas. But two weekends though?why? It was a surprising move for a festival with such people friendly, hippie roots.
The organisers say that ?they want everybody to be able to attend? (everyone accept me apparently smh), and that repeating the festival for a further weekend would give more people that opportunity.
Now, I cant argue with that ? more people ARE going to be able to attend, and perhaps this was done to meet the festival?s growing popularity (tickets for this year sold out in 3 hours ? a record for the festival), but judging by the feedback I?ve been receiving, more people doesn?t necessarily mean more happy people.

2 week 2 or not week 2?
I have groups of friends from both Los Angeles and New York who plan the month of April around their expedition to the desert. They got me involved back in 2010 (Jay-Z headlined, much to my delight) and I?ve been hooked since then. So upon the announcement that there would be two weekends to choose from ? cries from my various groups of friends were ?Week 1 or week 2???
In total I?m talking of a group of between 20-30 people, who were now all having to co-ordinate the trip perfectly like so: Can everyone book the same weekend off work? Are people even free on the same weekend? How does this affect our flights/transportation? Simple things maybe, but getting your group of friends on the same page is difficult enough, and this is before you?ve even secured a ticket.
As predicted, the worst case scenario came true. A number of my friends got tickets for Week 1, while others got tickets for Week 2 ? this is after waiting on standby online on separate waiting screens for each weekend. It quickly became apparent that my friends were getting access to purchase tickets, but for different weekends. The selection policy didn?t seem to have anything to do with how fast their broadband was, but instead operated like a lottery.

It?s easy to say that my friends could have communicated better, but when tickets are selling out rapidly and you?re faced with a choice of going to the festival or not, communication quickly falters. It?s a shame they even had to be put in this position in the first place. Now they have just under 90 days til the festival starts. They now need to hit up Craigslist and Ebay to see if anybody wants to swap weekends with them, or worse, pay over the odds again just so they can have a good time with their friends.
It?s an unnecessary headache for regular attendees of the festival ? the fan loses out to corporate doing once again. At least if it was held over just one weekend groups of people would have one single date to organise themselves and make arrangements for. A simple thing but it can honestly make life a lot easier for some people.
The immediate thing the 2 weekend story said to me was: Goldenvoice stand to make A LOT more money than they normally would. Sure the artists? booking fees, staff and other set up costs would remain?but you can bet that they?re still going to make a decent profit when it?s all over.
And for a festival who has prided itself on reducing it?s carbon footprint over the years, holding the same energy exhaustive festival twice in a row kind of unravels all of that hard work, no matter how you dress it up.

What about the other logistics though?the big debate between me and my friends was; are the headliners going to give a better show the first week, or the next? Will they give an epic opening show, or will it be a tired effort in the second week? It may sound silly, but these are serious concerns for big music fans ? hence everyone I know preferred the first weekend (which sold out first naturally). And what if an artist or band pulls out for some reason? Ok any festival is open to that happening, but what if an artists fills their obligation the first week then decides they can&amp;#8217;t/won&amp;#8217;t/don?t want to stick around for another week ? seriously, these are all things we consider.
It remains to be seen whether this move turns out to be a real success for Goldenvoice and the Coachella legacy. They may well turn over some positive bank numbers, but the over-riding feeling I?ve witnessed from my friends, the internet and online forums is that it?s an unnecessary change that actually takes away from the festival?s unique feel. Less is more sometimes.

As it currently stands I still don?t have a ticket, and if I do decide to try and get one somehow, I have to choose which of my American friends I?d rather spend 3 days in the desert with (I hope they?re not reading this).
Whatever happens, I hope Goldenvoice acknowledge the fans thoughts and opinions when it comes to 2013. In the two years that I?ve attended, I?ve never noticed any kind of bad feedback regarding the ticket purchasing scheme or any other aspect of the festival.
That has all changed this year. There?s definitely something to consider.

            <title>Conserve the Ecosystem (and Dollars) ? Drive a Car With Black Rims</title>
            <link>http://www.oevoev.com/2012/01/13/conserve-the-ecosystem-and-dollars-drive-a-car-with-black-rims/</link>
            <description>Are automobiles becoming passe? Because the economy continues to tank, and fuel prices spiral upwards, many folks are planning on buying a bike. Some seem to be also ready to give up their car and be content with public transportation. Even so, there are some cars that are very efficient on fuel and these cars are hybrids. That can be quite powerful if you take what is known about Purchase black rims online and put it to use. If you want a little advice, as soon as you are done reading this then do not stop; immediately get to work.
It seems so many people have a sincere desire to do something, but they fall in the trap of just sitting there and wishing. The most critical aspect of this is making the decision that you will make a difference in your life.
Half the battle with anything is making decisions and following through with them. Let&amp;#8217;s see what else there is to know about this topic. Unfortunately, many folks have never even discovered hybrid cars.
The first thing you must understand about hybrids is that they include two engines, not one. The initial one is an ordinary gas burning engine. The other is an electric engine. This kind of vehicle gets better gas mileage because of the combination of using the two motors. One unfavorable element of using an electric motor used to be being forced to plug it in to recharge its batteries. The latest technology has sorted out that problem by capturing the energy the car wastes every time we break to slow down and using it to keep the batteries charged. So,, while you motor about in your new hybrid, the operating system will automatically switch between the gas and electric motors based on power requirements. One element involved would be the speed you&amp;#8217;re traveling. Furthermore, both motors are generally called upon concurrently when extra power is required.
When the electric engine is powering your hybrid, you generate zero fuel emissions and increase your gasoline miles per gallon significantly, since you are using none. It is a matter of 50 mpg vs.14 mpg. So, you save money and the environment as well. The hybrid car is ideal for you, if you are concerned about the environment as well as hoping to save on the amount you spend on fuel. Buying a hybrid will enable you to do both, but it could cost you about $5,000 more to start with to purchase a hybrid.
It&amp;#8217;s this small additional up front expense that probably makes a good number of folks shy away from hybrids. However if you look at the tax incentives that are obtainable, along with the fuel savings, you are going to see what a good deal it can be. Many individuals have a concern that insurance costs will be more, and the same for maintenance costs. In fact, studies show that maintenance costs are not any higher with a hybrid. Because hybrid owners are not as likely to get into an accident, they are starting to get discount rates on their insurance.
Should it be starting to be time for you to have a new car, do yourself a favor and at least check out a hybrid or two. Bottom line: You are going to spend less at the pump, enjoy a significant tax break, and be doing your share to clean up our environment. Carpe diem!
