<title>Cheap Menthol Cigarettes vs Classic Cigarettes</title>
            <link>http://www.stopquitsmoking.info/cheap-menthol-cigarettes-vs-classic-cigarettes</link>
            <description>
These days, every major cigarette manufacturer across the globe has menthol cigarettes in their product lines. Introduced in the end of first quarter of 20th century by cigarette companies in order to stay afloat in the growing competition and to bring the much needed variety their product portfolio, menthol brands soon overtook classic cigarettes to become the most favored flavor amongst customers, both occasional and chain smokers alike. Studies conducted by various organizations show that more than 60% of regular smokers prefer menthol cigarettes than classic brands. In the case of African Americans, the number stands at a whooping 79%. What is there in menthol that makes it so popular?Menthol is a chemical compound found both as a natural extract and synthetic made and it gives a cool sensation to the throat and lungs if inhaled. When used in cigarettes, it gives the smoker a cool and smooth inhale as opposed to a more burning sensation of classic cigarettes. As a result, the smoker feels it easy to inhale more smoke into his/her lungs without any difficulty. Usually, as it is seen, with cheap menthol cigarettes, the smokers tend to inhale in small, shorter, and shallow puffs as they starts to enjoy the cold feel that each drag brings. Studies conducted on the cigarette smoking patterns in different nations point out that this, coupled with the anesthetic effect of the mint flavor, is the reason that drives up a smoker&amp;#8217;s tendency to smoke more menthol cigarettes. In short, menthol variants are found to be more addictive than the classic brands. No wonder, menthol variants have become the most sought after cigarette brands all across the world.Another aspect that draws smokers to menthol cigarettes is its relatively cheaper price. For example, the menthol variant of Kool or Newport not only lasts longer, but also at least 50% cheaper than the cheapest of Marlboro cigarettes. Perhaps, this is why, all top cigarette makers such as Marlboro, cheap Winston cigarettes, Virginia Slims, Camel, and Salem have all included menthol variants in their product lines. Cheap Marlboro Menthol and Marlboro Mild are two popular menthol variants from the house of Marlboro cigarettes.Regarding the exceedingly large number of menthol cigarette smokers among African Americans, experts&amp;#8217; points out that it may be due to the low prices and the effect of an aggressive target marketing and advertisement by cigarette makers. There is also this argument that African Americans have a larger presence of glucose diegeneicocide in their bloods, and this chemical in combination with menthol gives a soothing feel that these people crave for, if once experienced. Studies seem to underline this observation as a large number of menthol addicts are found amongst the African American populace. Finally, the downside of menthol cigarettes in particular (all cigarettes are injurious to health) is that since the menthol smoke is smooth, smokers inhale deep, in the process bringing in more nicotine and tar into the lungs. Menthol addiction further adds to this damage. So, if you are an ardent menthol smoker who badly wants to quit smoking, as a first step, try changing to a classic variant first before eventually reducing the daily dose. Checking into a smoking cessation clinic is also advisable if you prefer professional help.By: Albert NaleAbout the Author:

<title>Whitewashed brands in their purest form.</title>
            <link>http://thisisbandit.com/2012/05/whitewashed-brands-in-their-purest-form/</link>
            <description>
If you can recognize a product without its visual identity, you can talk about a brand that has done something right! Brands worldwide use thousand of dollars branding their products in all kind of ways, TV commercials, outdoor marketing, viral marketing, print marketing and so on. But in the end, all that can be thrown out the window if the customer in the buying situation, does not recognize the product they are selling, or remember it from somewhere.

A branding, design, and communications strategist, Andrew Miller has taken this problem and twisted it by making a project called ?Brand Spirit?. The project consists of him taking a new product every day for 100 day and removing the visual branding from it by whitewashing it. The products for the project, can be objects that he owns, objects that is been giving to him or objects he buys for less than 10$.
His describes him selves like this: ?I work by day as a strategic agent of change at Carbone Smolan Agency, I study by night at the SVA Master?s in Branding program, and I?m on a perpetual quest for the perfect burger.?
Here are some examples of some of the products he has painted white:

I very much like the project and i find it exciting to see the products that you know and think of in a certain way, striped down to a white form that actually could have been made by any brand. I also think that the white paint shows the truth of the product ? is it really something good? Or is it just some plastic? It?s like it can?t hide any more. If you are as intrigued as I am you can check the project out on his Tumblr.
He still has a long way to go until he reach the 100 objects, so you and I can follow his progress to see how far he takes it. It could be even more interesting.

            <title>Big Ben Work Coat</title>
            <link>http://denimhunters.com/history/american/bigbenworkcoat?utm_source=rss&amp;utm_medium=rss&amp;utm_campaign=bigbenworkcoat</link>
<description>On one of the first days of real spring in Copenhagen I went vintage shopping with a friend of mine. For a while he had been talking about the Wasteland shop and the lined denim jackets they have there. He chose this deadstock Big Ben Work Coat with an acrylic/polyester lining. A true workwear jacket. He&amp;#8217;s a slim guy and the size 34 regular fitted him perfectly.
Big Ben and Red Kap (see below &amp;#8220;Full 1 Year Warranty) are both part of the former Blue Bell Inc. now owned by VFC, the world&amp;#8217;s largest clothing company.
Classic red workwear bartacks gives it the final touch.
Made in U.S.A.
Gripper buttons.

The blanket lining really looks cheap and maybe even like something you&amp;#8217;d put in a dog&amp;#8217;s basket, but that&amp;#8217;s the charm of the authenticity of it all.

            <link>http://www.sactownsocialmedia.com/uncategorized/these-are-the-most-engaging-brands-on-facebook-infographic/</link>
<description>As Facebook gears up for its initial public offering later this week, there&amp;#8217;s been a lot of speculation about the company&amp;#8217;s valuation. But there&amp;#8217;s no denying that its worth to major and up-and-coming brands is invaluable, allowing Facebook users to interact and engage with companies in unprecedented ways. A new infographic from social marketing firm SocialBakers takes a look at which global brands are making the most of their Facebook presence. With 157 million Facebook users in the U.S. and 901 million on the site in total, about 83% of members are located outside the 50 states. </description>

            <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/Newspakistanpk/~3/V-ZFYBkBKRo/</link>
<description>Russell Brand un-follows Katy Perry on Twitter
When celebrities get divorced, we raise an eyebrow, pass comment and then move on. They do it all the time, that lot; it&amp;#8217;s hard to get overexcited. When celebs un-follow each other on Twitter though, that&amp;#8217;s when we really sit up and take notice. Hence our
reaction this morning when we noted that Russell Brand had un-followed Katy Perry on Twitter. This is big. It&amp;#8217;s huge. It involved logging on to Twitter, searching through his follow list and a click of button.
Katy un-followed Russell back in January, but it&amp;#8217;s taken Russell six months since the pair split to formally end it from his end (i.e. delete her on Twitter). Since they split Russell had been linked to numerous women; most of whom do a lot of yoga and Katy
has also been dating. She was most recently linked to Robert Ackroyd, the guitarist for Florence and the Machine. They did some public kissing at the Coachella festival in LA.
Anyone else suddenly thinking that they need to go and check their Twitter following list and ditch a few exes? Want to know what else has been kicking off on Twitter? Read about Professor Green&amp;#8217;s latest row here.

:danse:

            <title>Top 5 best External Hard Disk Drive</title>
            <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/buzzzparas/~3/uPbOR1bT_Dc/top-5-best-external-hard-disk-drive-3851</link>
<description>Having an external hard disk to support the hard disk that your system houses is imperative and that is because there is a whole of data that needs to be stored and your internal hard disk and you may just fall short of space. But with an external hard disk, you can have all your data stored in one place and you just need to carry it around and connect it to any system and ?Poof?, all your data is available on that system. Here are the top 5 best external hard disk drive.
Western Digital WDBACX0010BBK
This hard drive will make the creation of the backup of all your data really easy as fast as well. You also have the option of formatting the entire hard disk and then use it as a support drive for the internal hard disk. It has a capacity of 1TB and that is more than enough for you to store all your movies, songs, pictures, documents etc. Also, the drive only makes use of the USB for power and that adds to its portability.

Freecom &amp;#8211; TOUGH DRIVE 3.0 1TB
The name of this external hard drive gives out almost all the information that you would want about it. If you are intrigued about the name, as in the ?Tough? part, it just means that the hard drive is rugged and it can withstand a fall of upto 2mts. It has a storage capacity of 1 TB and that is lot of space for you. What you do not get from the name is that it has the USB3.0 integration and thus, the data transfer is lightning fast and creating backup is a child?s play.

Freecom Mobile Drive Mg &amp;#8211; 500GB for Apple
This external hard disk drive has a capacity that is lesser than the ones that I have mentioned above and it has been designed only for Apple devices, thus it has a sleek design that will enhance the look of your device. It has an inbuilt USB3.0 port and thus data transfer takes place in a matter of seconds and the best part is that the port is downwards compatible which means that it can be connected to a USB2.0 port with a USB cable and it will work just fine.

Kingston Digital HyperX SSD
This solid state drive is one that will be liked by those who do not really need one that has a lot of storage space as they do not have a lot of data to store. The drive comes in 90GB, 120GB, 240GB and 480GB variants. There is an upgradation kit, a screwdriver and cloning software that comes bundled along with the drive and it is powered by a SandForce SF-2281 processor. Also, it has the USB power connection and does not drain the system of charge when in use.

Transcend Store Jet 25H2
This hard drive from Transcend can store data upto 1TB and is pretty efficient. It has the USB2.0 integration and that is the only discouraging factor of the drive. There is a power saving mode that is present and that lasts for 10 minutes, which is more than enough time for transferring data. The device is protected by a solid encasing and thus it is safe from shocks and jerks. The best part is that it does not require any driver installation unlike most external solid state drivers.

Now that you know the top 5 best external hard disk drives, you need to set out and get the one that will fulfill your needs. If you are having second thoughts because of the price, you can surf the net for these devices and you?ll get a good deal, rest assured.

            <title>Making the Jeans</title>
            <link>http://denimhunters.com/az/makingthejeans?utm_source=rss&amp;utm_medium=rss&amp;utm_campaign=makingthejeans</link>
<description>Timmy Persson is one of the few Scandinavians who makes his own jeans clearly from scratch. Earlier this week he wrote about how he makes the patterns for his jeans (read it here). This time it&amp;#8217;s about how the fabric is cut and the jeans are sewn.

Step 1:
I&amp;#8217;ll begin out with a little tip on how to get ahold of the things you need to make a pair of jeans. I had a hard time here in Sweden finding a fabric that suited my taste. And also both decent rivets and buttons are hard to come by. But then I ran across a website called TaylorTailor where you can find everything you need to make a nice pair of jeans. The shipping time is about two weeks and when the fabric has arrived it?s time to put the pattern pieces on to the denim.
Step 2:
Since I want to use the self-edge on my other seams there is only one way to place the leg patterns on. The rest of the pieces you might have to puzzle around a bit so that the use of the fabric is as little as possible. But keep in mind that you have to hold the grain line to prevent twisting, although the fabric itself might make a leg twist. But that?s just nice, right?!

Step 3:
Cut out all your pieces and start sewing. I was kind of curious about what the back pockets would look like, so I started working on the back pieces. The first thing to do is to attach the yoke. Now to the pockets, since I?m going to have rounded pockets I did a template that I ironed the edges over just to get the shaping right. Then I fastened the pocket lining with the top seam and the arcuate, which I free-handed.
Step 4:
Over to the placing of the back pockets. It?s important that the pockets are placed at the same spot on both sides, so measure well. Since I want a vintage look on my jeans, I put them close to the outer seams; in the old days jeans were used as work pants and you needed to have easy access to your tools.
Now, you just have to put together the back pieces with each other. The back piece is done for now.
Step 5:
Changing to the front pieces. Here I start with the pocket linings, I stitched the arcuate and also on the right front pocket the watch pocket has been attached. Attaching the pocket to the front pieces and also making stitches to cover the lose edge on the inside. And finally I close the pocket inside out, flip it over and again I do a stitch to cover the loose edges.
That?s it for today, next time you?ll see the final result.

            <title>Løgn fra payblogging.dk i appeller til nyttige idioter</title>
            <link>http://bizzen.blogs.business.dk/2012/04/21/logn-fra-payblogging-dk-i-appeller-til-nyttige-idioter/</link>
            <description>Hvad de smarte på nettet dog ikke forsøger at slippe afsted med. Her er den seneste falske reklame: &amp;#8220;Endelig har danske bloggere nu fået mulighed for at tjene penge ved at lave betalte blog-indlæg, en markedsføringsform der har været kendt i udlandet i mange år, men først nu er kommet til Danmark.&amp;#8221;
Det er payblogging.dk, der står bag påstanden, og man behøver blot at tjekke Bizzen-bloggen for navnet Bloggerwave, for at se, at påstanden er usand.
Endte i ren plat
&amp;#8220;Vi har et meget ekslusivt klientel og tager kun kunder ind, som vi ved kan levere kvalitet til vores bloggere.&amp;#8221;

            <title>Making Your Own Jeans Pattern</title>
            <link>http://denimhunters.com/blog/news/tpjeanspattern?utm_source=rss&amp;utm_medium=rss&amp;utm_campaign=tpjeanspattern</link>
<description>In this article, Swedish denim enthusiast Timmy Persson will take you through eleven basic steps of making the pattern for jeans. As Timmy already has a basic pattern he is going to show you how to do it on a smaller scale at first. Timmy is blogging on his Blue Thimble Denim blog, and besides sewing his own jeans he is soon doing an internship with Indigofera. Please welcome the latest addition to the Denimhunters.

Step 1:

The first thing you do is to put on your favorite pair of jeans, mark the center front of the waistband, the thickest area of your bum, and thigh, the knee, the lower leg, and the hem. Then you measure the length between all the areas and also the width on the marks from seam to seam and both on the front and the back.
Step 2:
When all the measurements are done it?s time to start with the pattern. You start by adding all the measures of the length to get the outer seam length. Since I?m going to use a selvage fabric I want the outer seam to be totally straight. Therefore, I start out by doing two straight lines in the same length as the total amount of all the length points. Now you have the start of the front and the back.
You place the marking points on to both of the lines. You draw out the width lines on the marking spots, the left line is your front side and the right line is your back. It should look something like this:

Then it?s time to shape the pant and you just follow the markings that you have put out, even though it?s a little tricky to get the right shape on the back rise and the crouch seam. A good thing to do is to make a pair of ?shorts? without details just to see if you?re on the right track with the pattern.

When you feel that the fitting is right it?s now time to reshape it if you would like to have a tighter or wider fit and also to adjust the height of the waist and to put out all the details on to your pattern. This is a thing that I also going to do so from now on I can show you how I did on my pattern.
My basic pattern is a quite narrow fit and the model that I?m going to make is inspired of the early twenties century. Back then jeans were a little baggier and more comfortable. So I need to reshape it and do the crouch seam a bit longer and lift the waist.
Step 3:
Here I have increased the crouch seam on the back piece.
Step 4:
Then I start shaping of the waistband; I want it to be 3.5 cm, so I make some marks and then I just have to follow them.
Step 5:
After that I shape of the front pocket, the fly, pocket bag, and also the watch pocket.
Step 6:
On the back, I put out my yoke together with the size and position of the back pocket; the shaping of the back pocket I leave till later.
Step 7:
Now it?s time to re-draw the details on to a new silk paper, so I can cut them out later. For the pocket bag and the fly you double fold the paper before you cut it out like this.
Step 8:
When you do your waistband you need to have a smooth transition from the back piece to the front piece, and when you re-draw it, you put them together.
Step 9:
Here I?m doing the shaping of the back pocket. I choose a rounder look of it for this pair.
Step 10:
When all the pieces are cutout its time to put them on to a harder piece of paper so when it?s time to draw the pattern on to the fabric it will be more durable. It?s also time to do the seam allowance.
Step 11:
The seam distance that I use almost everywhere is 1 cm; I want a more narrow selvage edge so there I use 0,7cm; on the places where I will be using a lap seam I use 1,3cm; and for the hem I use 3 cm.
And that?s it? almost. You can read more about this Timmy&amp;#8217;s projects here or follow him on Facebook. Also, you might want to visit Timmy&amp;#8217;s girlfriend&amp;#8217;s blog.
