Life has become very fast as nobody finds the time to think over what he is at the moment and what pleasures he has in his possession without even noticing them. He always tries to attain something which is bigger from that thing which he has at the moment. Having dissatisfaction with what a man is at the moment is the major element which creates a mess in his life and forces him to follow all those things which are beyond his reach at the moment. Man always remains in search of better and better things to make his life comfortable. But ironically, he never finds time to enjoy what he gains as he constantly changes his goals to gain something more beneficial, something much better. Present age has turned a man into a materialistic being, who always thinks about how to earn more money, more resources and more power and imagines that all these luxuries of life will provide him pleasure. But he never thinks that his unending greed will never let him satisfied with what he gains and he will force him to get something more enticing. People never get tired with the greed of getting more and more and remain busy in this pursuit without thinking that life is limited and they have to die one day. A famous saying of Sheikh Saadi expresses it in a beautiful manner. He said, ?To make money we lose our health and then to restore our health we lose our money. We live as if we are never going to die and we die as if we never lived.? So, the crux to the matter is that people should dwell in the present moment instead of getting worried for future. Pow Wow: Pow Wow is a globally known street art/graffiti event, founded by artist and gallery owner Jasper Wong. Striving to engage with the broader community in the process and creation of art, Pow Wow gathers some of todays most talented and creative contemporary artists every year with  the goal of turning an entire neighborhood into a contemporary piece of art. After having just finished this years Pow Wow event in Hawaii, we speak to Jasper Wong about the concept behind the event, his visions for the project and where he sees the project going in the future Andre D. Wagner: New York-based photographer, Andre D. Wagner, is certainly an artist of contrasts who has already created an impressive portfolio of incredible photo-stories and creative journals, documenting the life and style of our generation?s future visionaries and creative thinkers. Having worked  close to Street Etiquette, Jesse Boykins III and Joshua Bennett just to name a few, we speak to Andre Wagner about coming to New York, the ideas and visions behind his creative journals and what his plans are for the future. Haroshi: Having worked professionally in art over the past decade by creating unique sculptures of old broken skate decks, Haroshi is today a globally recognized artist, known for his very controversial and characteristic signature style. With a special eye for detail, composition and structure, we speak with the Japanese artist on his early days as an artist growing up in Japan, the process behind his quite controversial work and his current view on the traditional art world. Michael Alan: Michael Alan is a New York-based artist, mostly known for his very complex and grotesque line drawings and paintings. Besides having worked within the more traditional mediums of art, Michael Alan has also worked with installation design and music the last couple of years, exploring new artistic dimensions within his creative field. We sat down one late night to speak with Michael on growing up in the 80?s and 90?s New York , how it has affected the outcome of his work today and what people can expect coming from him in the future. Kelsey Brookes: Kelsey Brookes is a scientist by training and artist by vocation. Using common motifs as animals, naked bodies, spiritual beings, and geometric patterns, Kelsey Brookes combines new and different elements in his paradoxical flowing paintings, which all leaves his audience behind wondering what the hell is going on. Having created an amazing collection of colorful paintings over the years, we sat down with Kelsey Brookes to chat about the aesthetic of his artworks, his inspiration sources and the story behind his motifs.
