            <title>Keramisk udstilling</title>
            <link>http://www.supress.dk/2012/05/16/keramisk-udstilling/</link>
            <description>

Deres værker er repræsenterede i en række af verdens vigtige museumssamlinger: for Michael Geertsens vedkommende bl.a, Victoria &amp;amp; Albert Museum i London, Metropolitan Museum, New York, Museum of Art and Design, New York og Designmuseum Danmark. Peder Rasmussens værker er ligeledes i samlingerne på Victoria &amp;amp; Albert Museum, på Nationalmuseet i Stockholm, Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe in Hamburg , Designmuseum Danmark og mange flere. www.copenhagenceramics.com

At the BANDIT office we are all photography enthusiasts. Not claiming that we have the complete technological knowledge about cameras, or that any of us are, or will probably ever become, professional photographers, but in our opinion we do know how to take some pretty good pictures and we appreciate when other people has done the same!
Another thing we all have a certain desire for is nicely designed ?stuff?, meaning we sometimes end up spending a little more time on The Fancy, discovering new covers, leather goods and other accessories, than first intended.
Now, if you combine our two ?passions? the result is unquestionably going to be;
Leica?

Since 1925 Leitz Camera (Leica) has been producing impressive, small, good-looking cameras for the people? or at least for the wealthy sections.
What?s special about Leica apart from what we at BANDIT are currently using, Canon, is the craftsmanship they put into making a camera and that?s something we are huge fans of;

Not only is this video beautifully made, it?s also very good advertising for Leica. It portrays the essence of the brand in a simple but very convincing way. There?s no need for background music or unnecessary extra effects, it is what it is, pure quality! The camera in the video is the Leica M9-P Edition Hermes and it costs $50.000? <title>WINDOW DECORATION FOR JUST FEMALE</title>
            <link>http://www.idoart.dk/?p=34771</link>
            <description>

Last week I took a trip to Copenhagen to help with the final touches and hanging of the window decoration, I created for Just Female. Just Female was created in Dec. 2006, and since then it has grown successfully, and managed to establish a strong identity on a national as well as international level, with agencies in Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Norway.

When I was given the assignment to make a window display, to create attention for the Just Female flagstore in Sværtegade, Copenhagen, I started by doing research, regarding which type of collection would be hanging in the store the next couple of months. It was important that the display supports the clothes that are to be sold in the store. To help me narrow it in, I recieved their latest magazine. Full of pictures of the collection, styling thoughts and most important the look and feel of the direction, they wish the brand to travel.

I chose 4 pages which I felt was part of the core identity of the magazine. I needed to make something which was not to girlie, but had a more tomboy, cool look. The design behind Just Female is a combination of clean lines and raw details that together create a unique and edgy design. The color scheme I chose was soft powder shades to mix and give contrast to the black and dark colors. The t-shirt prints set the tone for my artwork, shadows, mysterious and abstract elements, and at the same time recognizable objects and shapes.

All the collage artwork is done digitally and sent to be cut and mounted professionally on 12 mm foam boards. The artwork can be seen from the inside as well as the outside of the shop. If you are in the neighborhood feel free to cruise by and enjoy the window at Sværtegade 10, Cph.

            <description> After refreshing the uploading tool (and throwing in some better editing functions ), Flickr&amp;#8217;s decided to work on its looks. Its latest design update will now show a high-resolution version directly from a picture&amp;#8217;s main page. The size will also adjust itself to the resolution and size of your screen &amp;#8212; that&amp;#8217;s the fluid part of it &amp;#8212; avoid any nasty upscaling business.

            <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/netsans/~3/-UQl1AreggE/</link>
            <description>Responsive Menu Designing navigation with more than 4 links on mobile devices will quickly prove to be a challenge if you try to settle with CSS and media queries. In ?Adaptive Web Design? Aaron Gustafson proposes transforming the usual ordered or unordered list of navigational links into a &amp;lt;select&amp;gt; drop down menu with JavaScript. Matt Kersley has turned that approach into a very useful jQuery plugin, which turns an ordinary list of links into a drop down below a specified screen size. You can get it on Github here: jQuery Responsive Menu PluginTest your responsive design Also, if you want to test your responsive web design, you can try it out in Matt Kersley?s Responsive Web Design Testing Tool. Other than it?s testing ability, this tool is a great reference for remembering the most common breakpoints.Dynamic Carousel There are lots and lots of jQuery carousel, image sliders and gallery plugins out there on teh interwebs, but they are rarely responsive. Mat Marquis has made a responsive one, which scales beautifully and works pretty well. You can get it on Github here: Dynamic Carousel  </description>

            <description>In the old days web design used to be a pretty static affair. You created the site, you did a bit of SEO and presto &amp;#8211; it worked. Nowadays the entire evolution of web design and marketing is in a state of constant change. Web design companies have become partners more than just vendor simply due to the constant updates, changes and course corrections that have to be made online everyday.
What does a web design firm&amp;#8217;s strategy involve?
When we are talking strategy here we are not talking about individual projects. We are talking broadly on how the web design firm is going to tackle future changes and how its going to affect the client&amp;#8217;s online presence.
The strategy can come under the following categories:

Technological Evolution
Marketing Philosophy
Client centred choices

These three broads head cover the areas which will affect the client directly based on the agency&amp;#8217;s decisions. Lets take a more detailed look at each.
Technological Evolution &amp;#8211; What decisions are going to influence work on the web technology front.
The questions that need answering are based on web technology specialization by the web design firm

What development platforms is the design firm committed to? Which operating systems &amp;#8211; Linux, Windows or now maybe even Android. What programming languages and what database technology? E.g. We specialize in Core PHP -MySQL development.
What tools are in the pipeline for improved web design efficiency or website easy of use. E.g. Content Management System upgrades, Form processing systems or any other licensed scripts and programs.
What are the various content delivery solutions shortlisted for various possible scenarios? What blogging platform, which chat platform, which video hosting site, which PDF/Presentation hosting site? Does the web design firm have ready resources to address the different types of content delivery challenges that come up?
How is the web design firm going to approach outdated technologies, whats the plan to identify and update them. E.g. Jquery is fast replacing Flash. Is the firm committed or equipped for such a transition?
Are they tooling up for newer mediums such as mobile or tablets? Are they also adding app development or do they prefer to outsource it?
Security updates and future protecting the websites against spam, hacking, viruses, server crashes and other scenarios. What is the firm&amp;#8217;s backup plan? Does it rely on the hosting company or does it have its own backup systems.

Marketing Philosophy &amp;#8211; When all you have is a hammer then everything looks like a nail.
I know of several web firms who recently started in the Social Media space and are starting to expand into other web specialities such as SEO, Design etc. But they are handicapped by their inclination towards their specialization i.e. social media. There efforts to enter the other spaces remains half hearted and their marketing services mix remains lopsided. The reverse happens for older web design firms who are experts at design and SEO but treat Social Media with suspicion and step motherly treatment. The ideal firm should have a balanced outlook on all possible online marketing opportunities.
Note: When i mention &amp;#8216;marketing&amp;#8217; I mean it terms of marketing of the clients products and services, not the web design firm&amp;#8217;s services.

 What is marketing tools mix and what resources are dedicated to each? What are the firms marketing strengths? Is it strong in SEO and average in Social media? What steps are being taken to correct the imbalances in the marketing services mix?
Whats the overall marketing philosophy of the firm? Where do they see the online market place evolving? Are they on top of the latest trends in online marketing and customer behaviour?
Is the firm a thought leader in any area? Is it influencing the industry in any manner? Is it setting the pace in certain areas which can be considered a leadership position?
How is it educating and working with the client to make the most of the marketing opportunities or is it working in a vacuum without the clients inputs?

Client Centred Choices &amp;#8211; What type of clients and projects does the web design  firm want to handle?
As web design firms grow and evolve so do their preferences and aspirations. It may be from an individual entrepreneur or a management team but every firm will make choices on what it will or won&amp;#8217;t handle. Some firms restrict themselves to only small jobs and avoid programming complexity. Others won&amp;#8217;t touch small jobs, instead preferring challenging and large projects. The client has to evaluate whether their existing web design firms are a match to their own ambitions or lack thereof.

Will the web design firm scale up staff and resources to match the growth levels of the client&amp;#8217;s company. Or vice versa, will it scale down its own expectations with a downturn in the client&amp;#8217;s business.
Does the web design firm match the clients approach to marketing? Conservative or otherwise? Many clients get frustrated when the web design firm simply does not want to experiment instead staying on the tried and tested path.
Does the web design firm &amp;#8216;get&amp;#8217; the clients business model. Nothing is sadder than when the client and the web design company work at cross purposes simply because the firm does not &amp;#8216;buy in&amp;#8217; to the clients marketing strategy.
Does the web design firm match the client&amp;#8217;s passion? Client&amp;#8217;s can get excited over selling ceramic pipes (for e.g.), can the agency match this enthusiasm in their work or do the want only the &amp;#8216;sexy&amp;#8217; projects.

At the end of the day it comes down to whether the website design firm and the client match expectations in terms of technology, marketing approach and client selection choices.
Some advise for web design firms and clients &amp;#8211; take it with a pinch of salt as they say.

Web design firms should be crystal clear on where they are going in terms of technology, marketing and business philosophy. This clarity should dictate what kind of clients and work they take on. Ambiguity will cause client relation problems and the business will go nowhere.
Clients should idenfity their expectations in terms of approach to marketing, business ambitions and in-house knowledge and then find the best fit for them. Its a technical as well as philosophical choice.

Cheers,
Ron

Hvilket lækkert sted at have adresse.
Van Nelle&amp;#8217;s er indstillet til at blive en del af UNESCO&amp;#8217;s Verdensarv. Helt unik arkitektur.

            <title>Dr Khalil Chisti finally lands in Pakistan</title>
            <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/Newspakistanpk/~3/wScbUYss5KQ/</link>
            <description>Virologist Dr Mohammed Khalil Chishti has landed in Islamabad from India after spending 20 years in jail, indicating a symbol of hope for the hundreds of prisoners languishing on both sides of the border indefinitely.
Rather it was a historic day for Indo-Pak relations and scenes of jubilation were witnessed at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport. A special plane was sent by President Asif Ali Zardari to bring back the old scientist, who spent two decades in the Indian jails.
Although he is not completely free but he will remain in the country until his next hearing scheduled on November 01, 2012. Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik and Port and Shipping Minister Babar Ghauri welcomed him at the airport.
President Asif Ali Zardari had discussed Dr Chishty?s case with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh during his recent visit to Ajmer.
The virologist was recently released from Ajmer Jail after being sentenced to a life imprisonment term in a murder case. Later, the India Supreme Court granted him bail on April 9, allowing him to visit Pakistan for a temporary tour on May 10, 2012.
While talking to the media Dr Chishti observed, ?I am happy that I am going to my homeland to meet my family and friends. I would like to offer a thanksgiving prayer as soon as I reach the airport and then I will go to my home?.
In quite an anxious state of mind, his daughter Farah while talking to the media observed, ?It is a miracle. We have been waiting since morning for his return and now we will spend the whole night waiting for his arrival tomorrow. We have made his favorite food?.
According to him, Dr Chishti was visiting his ailing mother in Ajmer in 1992 when he got embroiled into a family feud that led to the death of one of his relatives.
He has been in Ajmer since, locked up at his ancestral home for eighteen years before being jailed following his conviction in January last year.
He said that he would go to Lahore to meet Sarabjit Singh, an Indian national facing a death sentence on charges of involvement in bomb blasts in Pakistan and languishing in prison in Lahore for the last 22 years.

            <description> Mobile payment system Isis continues to rack up passengers on its merry bandwagon, gaining support from local merchants in two cities for its NFC wallet service.
