            <title>Macbook pro generation 2012 ? kabinet ?knirker?</title>
            <link>http://www.guska.net/macbook-pro-generation-2012-kabinet-knirker</link>
            <description>Hej alle sammen.

<title>New MacBook line with Retina Display, bad idea for battery and applications ? Part 1</title>
            <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/Newspakistanpk/~3/zCMZ3mAaY_E/</link>
<description>The release of new MacBook series, including both Air and Pro versions, is constantly being surrounded by one rumour, the inclusion of Retina Display. Where the attractive new resolution technology looks attractive and will certainly catch the attention of many computer users in the world, it has a pun to its performance though.
Although the addition of Retina Display will bump up the resolution from the current standard of 1440&amp;#215;900 pixels to 2560&amp;#215;1600 pixels, it will take its toll on the battery life. The battery is one of the heaviest part fattest parts of any computer system. The inclusion of RD will certainly ask for a powerful charging source that has the brawn to handle the large display, in terms of pixel density, and the stamina to hold the computer going for a long time.
A powerful battery, in other words, means a bigger power source. This means Apple will have to compromise on the size of the notebook, much like the new iPad 2012, which is thicker and heavier than the 2011 iPad 2. From what we have heard, the company is planning to make the new laptop line even slimmer, the MacBook Pro.
The Retina Display will have tax the battery life and even nestling a new more powerful and bigger battery might not address the issue. It might make the device bigger and heavier while providing battery timing near the set benchmark, or the company will have to compromise on the battery life for the size. However, there is a danger that both might come true in the new Pro series, if the Retina Display rumours are to be taken true.
MacBook Air already lives on strict diet and messing with its dimensions for a mere inclusion of Retina Display will deteriorate its size. That would be an unprofessional act on Apple?s part.

<title>New MacBook line with Retina Display, bad idea for battery and applications ? Part 2</title>
            <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/Newspakistanpk/~3/mf23IO9IvKg/</link>
<description>The most important thing to consider in this scenario is, whether customers want a new display of the proposed size. The highest resolution seen in the market, regardless of the screen size, is 1,920&amp;#215;1,080 pixels, which is more commonly known as full HD or 1080p resolution. To date, no one has even complaint about the resolution or demanded a denser option.
Giving a 14- or 15-inch display a resolution of 2,560&amp;#215;1,600 would be overdoing it. Though it might provide a paper-like display to the viewer, it will make applications even complicated to build for both Retina and non Retina displays.
To cater to a display this much dense, technologist refer to a separate graphics processing technology called HiDPI. Apple might have to get their hands on the said tech to process the rich graphics. Inclusion of HiDPI will make device even more complex.
The market is already very complicated with a slew of other options and a MacBook with Retina Display is surely going to aggravate the issue. Moreover, applications will have a dual nature to display on a Retina Display MacBook and a non-Retina Display iMac, for example. Those with the option of such resolution might use up all the real estate but for those that do not have RD option will have to make peace with a digitally enhanced more blurred display as the resolution doubles in the new MacBook.
Therefore, it can safely be said that Apple has to brain storm the idea of Retina Display, if it were true, to make necessary arrangements to ensure the new display tech does not affect the battery life and the app market. Otherwise, discarding the idea for another time would be a wise decision, according to the experts.

<title>Apple Rumours: MacBook Pro goes on diet, loses optical drive to get slimmer ? Part 1</title>
            <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/Newspakistanpk/~3/AZaCI0-CcX0/</link>
<description>Upcoming MacBook Pro will be slimmer with Retina Display and without optical drive, iCloud to receive upgrades and Apple Television in the making for a possible next year release
MacBook Pro gets a makeover in the upcoming 2012 model, said a credible source this week. It has been more than two years that the Pro line has not received any substantial upgrades except the inclusion of the second-generation Core i-Series processors from Intel.
In the rumours collected by source, MacBook Pro will be ultra-thin with a massive width shaved off the body, i.e. the cradle where the keyboard is located. This however, should not be confused with ultrabooks or MacBook Air, the Pro will retain the basic aesthetics of its predecessors but will be thinner. It will have a tapered design like the Air but there are certain features that it might adopt from its younger brother.
The dedicated power button loses its position from the bezel into the jungle of keys as a part of the keyboard, like the Air. Moreover, it loses the optical drive like the Air. The reason for the Pro to lose an optical drive, be it DVD or Blu-Ray, makes sense. This had been a long time coming to the Pro as DVDs and other disc formats are losing their value, much less video and audio CDs.
According to the source, the 2012 Pro will be the first notebook from Apple to have USB 3.0 in the chassis, and not one but three. Two thunderbolt I/O, one USB ports and an SD card slot will be on one side of the system, while the other side will house Power input, audio in and out jacks and two USB ports. Note that Apple is not providing any Ethernet or Fireware support in upcoming iteration of the Pro line.

            <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/Newspakistanpk/~3/oHKLh8U0s7w/</link>
<description>The MacBook Pro is also expected to have the astonishing Retina Display resolution. Though this is not a biggie for Apple anymore, but for users it will bring a new experience of paper-like text view and extremely sharp video quality especially in games.
The new MacBook Pro will embrace the latest Ivy Bridge processors from Intel and the chipset is also touted to be brand new from Intel. The new Core i7 quad-core processor of the high-end laptop is said to have a clock speed of 2.7 GHz.
The iMac has also been covered by the rumour initiator. According to it, the new all-in-one desktop from Apple will have the new Ivy Bridge processor as well, only this time it will be clocked at a massive 3.4 GHz.
Moreover, iCloud is getting updates too. The clouding service from Apple is expected to get an upgrade in the sharing modules. We have already seen some updates and fixes to iCloud in the iOS 5.1.1 update last week. However, the new update will revamp the PhotoStream app on Apple devices and will allow multiple users to access the albums. The updates will also allow the app to share videos, the source suggested.
Worldwide Developers? Conference (WWDC) this year is eyed to be the stage for the launch of new version of iOS, iOS 6. Although it has been less than a year since iOS 5 started operating, but experts all over the world are of the opinion that the release of new operating system is inevitable.
However, the major news that might attract media attention in this regard will be separation between Apple and Google on their map service called Google Maps. Apple is rumoured to include its own in-house map service.

<description>Apple has been in a buying spree since last year to develop and improve its own map service. In this regard, the Cupertino giants acquired a number of companies that master in mapping services, including the infamous acquisition of C3 Technologies. According to various sources, the Apple map service will be smoother, clearer and more accurate/updated than Google?s.
The Apple device that is making more news than others is the one Apple has not released yet. It is the yet-to-launch Apple Television that was hinted by Walter Isaacson in Late Steve Jobs? biography. The new television will bring Apple into home appliance business, in addition to computers, mobile devices and audio devices.
In recent developments, Foxconn?Apple?s biggest hardware component vendor?has inadvertently revealed that the new TV set is in the making of at their China-based plant. Terry Gou, Chairman of the company accidently spilled word on the new television. Later Foxconn denied such news mooting it has rumour.
It is apparent that the release of the new television set is inevitable as Jobs? biography suggests but the release date or even year, for that matter, is yet to be determined.
In other news, various sources have suggested that Apple has not yet finalized the design of the sixth-generation iPhone. However, it is expected to inherit the same aspect ratio from its predecessors but the screen will be bigger. The trademark home button is still at the bottom of the screen but due to size constraints it is creating problems in the design of the device.

<description> Apple looks to be stepping up the frequency of OS X Mountain Lion beta updates after initially keeping the pace slow and steady: it just posted a new, unceremoniously titled 12A206J build for developers. What the update fixes in the Developer Preview isn&amp;#8217;t clear, but there are still glitches with Fast User Switching, Java applets, sharing menus and Notes syncing with iTunes, among a handful of other showstoppers.

<title>Apple to launch Next Gen iPhone in September, 7-inch iPad in August and new MacBook Air in ...</title>
            <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/Newspakistanpk/~3/xOkhQ7a73c8/</link>
<description>Apple is again in rumours these days and it is not just the upcoming iPhone but almost every gadget that the company sells has been aimed by rumour guns. In recent news hovering in the media, Pegatron Corporation has landed at Cupertino for the new iPhone, which is touted to be slimmer and longer than the previous iPhones.
The Taiwanese company specializes in notebooks, tablets and smartphones and manufactures components and peripherals for major electronics manufacturers. It is rumoured that the sixth generation iPhone will have some mesmerizing features besides a new shape and design. The most talked about is its bigger 4-inch Retina Display touch screen that is an upgrade over previous 3.5-inch displays.
The new phone expected to be launched in September, in the same period when 2011 version of the smartphone, iPhone 4S was released. However, no specific dates have been released or leaked. There are rumours that the new iPhone may shore up in the June-set Worldwide Developer?s Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco.
Rumour also has it that the company might also launch a new 7-inch iPad to cater to the competition from the likes of Kindle Fire, Samsung Tab 2 7.0/7.7 and Barnes and Noble Nook Tablet. Since the release of the Kindle Fire, it seems like the market trend has changed. The $199 7-inch basically Android-based tablet has been selling like hot cakes and the trend seems to continue in an upward stream.
In the light of the new competition, Apple is allegedly planning to launch a new iPad with a smaller screen and cheaper price tag. It is stipulated to arrive in the market in August this year.

            <description>&amp;nbsp;
In other news, the MacBook Air and Pro are anticipated to receive reinforcements in Fall this year. Word on the street is that the company has planning to launch a new $799 MacBook Air to cater to Windows-based ultrabooks that range from $699 to $1200. The release of this thin MacBook Air is expected to fall somewhere in the third quarter as well. Furthermore, the MacBook line is expected to receive an upgrade of wireless technology.
There are telltales that the new line of notebooks from Apple will have built-in 4G LTE antennas and will work on wireless networks from the likes of AT&amp;amp;T and Verizon. So expect these carriers to sell some laptops on contract in addition to smartphones and certain tablets.
The new television set from Apple, that Walter Isaacson quoted Late Steve Jobs telling the world about, is also catching attention from the media. Though many experts are of the opinion that the new television will not surface in the market any time soon?at least this year, it has been tipped for being in the prototype stage already.
There are numerous sources that have stated sights of the prototype of a big 42-inch display in Chinese factories. The television, according to these sources, is a big version of the Apple?s LED-backlit Cinema Display that maxes out at 27 inches. Further, the television will have Siri integration, FaceTime chatting with the built-in camera in the top bezel and AirPlay streaming from other iOS and Mac OS X devices.
Last week Apple launched the iOS upgrade called iOS 5.1.1 with bug fixes that will essentially solve the AirPlay bugs and iCloud synchronization. It will also fix software bugs on iCloud-based apps that have not been launched yet. It will also improve the reliability of HDR option video on lock screen.
Apple to launch Next Gen iPhone in September, 7-inch iPad in August and new MacBook Air in between &amp;#8211; Part 1

            <title>Nye MacBooks lige om hjørnet</title>
            <link>http://beep.tv2.dk/nyheder/nye-macbooks-lige-om-hj%C3%B8rnet</link>
