            <title>The Fluoride Deception</title>
            <link>http://curetoothdecay.com/blog/the-fluoride-deception/?utm_source=rss&amp;utm_medium=rss&amp;utm_campaign=the-fluoride-deception</link>
<description>For many years the public has been told that fluoride is needed to prevent cavities. Many cities and towns across the country fluoridate the water supply. Dentists and doctors across the nation often recommend fluoride, and support the fluoridation of water. This practice is misleading and dangerous to the health of all life. The fluoride so often added to the water supply and recommended by dentists and doctors is not a natural product. It is a byproduct of the phosphate mining process, and it is a highly toxic, hazardous compound.
Fluoride in the Water
Years ago, phosphate mining companies released byproducts of phosphoric acid production into the air. Because farms in areas around the phosphate mining companies were suffering devastating losses of animals and crops due to fluoride poisoning, the companies found a way to capture toxic fluoride vapors and turn them into liquid chemicals. These hazardous chemicals are now collected and shipped to cities and towns to be released into water supplies. This dumping of toxic chemicals into municipal water supplies is justified by the false idea that this will help prevent cavities. The truth is that fluoride is a toxin, not the helpful, benign element we have been led to believe.
The Harm of Fluoride
There have been a number of studies linking fluoride to lower IQ. This is a correlation that makes sense if you think about how the body reacts to toxins. The idea that fluoride is a natural mineral that is required for tooth protection and mineralization is false. Fluoride does not help remineralize teeth; nor does it prevent cavities. Drinking fluoridated water and using fluoride treatments can actually harm your brain and body. To avoid this harm, you can get a water filter for your home or counter-top sink. This will help you limit your exposure to fluoridated water, and create a less toxic environment.
Fluoride is not the cure for tooth decay. It is not a safe treatment for prevention. The best way to protect your teeth from decay is through a diet that is rich in fat-soluble vitamins and minerals. Eating unprocessed foods that are as close to nature as possible, and avoiding those foods that promote decay will be your best treatment for and defense against tooth decay.
The following video is the full story of the Fluoride Deception. It is a fun and educational video that will tell you more facts about the processing and reasons behind water fluoridation.

            <description>

Those who don?t believe that the ridges of mountains should be blasted away to extract coal in Tennessee have taken to prayer in the 40 days leading to this year?s opening of the state legislature.

Baptist, Catholic, Church of Christ, Presbyterian and Methodist church members are among those who have been focusing on the beauty and wonder of the mountains, waters and sky in advance of the upcoming legislative session. ?Our hearts care about God?s creation,? Kim McLean, pastor of the Church of Nazarene, said quietly.

Religious groups large and small across the state have expressed their concerns about the state?s ridge tops over the 40 days. Some have quoted Scripture, calling for care of ?the garden,? or have spoken of nature?s marvels or talked of the need to stick to less-damaging ways to mine coal.

<title>Executive Series: Social Data Is An Important Key</title>
            <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/mindjumpers/~3/9EZbxtOBa0s/</link>
<description>TweetThis post is part of The Executive Series which is written by Jonas Klit Nielsen, CEO and Founder of Mindjumpers. The posts are based on his daily work with passionate people responsible in the area of social business, executives from large international companies and thought leaders in the social business space.
One of the challenges for a lot of marketers I talk to when getting the executive buy in, is formulating a clear ?that?s the value ? that?s what is in it for us&amp;#8221;.
Social is a new component in the business landscape. It is disrupting industries and the ways we communicate as people. The visionaries have no problem accepting the fact that if we don?t invest in this, we might be out of business one day. But like anything else, the visionaries are unfortunately  few.
Through working with a lot of dedicated social media enthusiastic people I have been watching different keys to the mind (sometimes the hearts) of their executives. This post is about one of those: data.
Gathering data and mining for insights to grow our business is something that most executives know is important. Basically, with the rise of the internet over the last 10 years, it has become more and more evident that the pile of data is growing to a level were we can make a considerable amount of decisions on data, instead of intuition.
The Social Data Revolution
In a still very relevant article in the Harvard Business Review from 2009, Andreas Weigend takes us into the coming of &amp;#8220;The Social Data Revolution&amp;#8220;. We are in the middle of that revolution right now.
It is becoming more and more clear that social data is a very important source to navigate our business, not just from a marketing perspective, but from a lot of other business areas like business or product development, HR, Sales etc. It is becoming clear that to be an innovative company today, the key is to leverage social data and to be able to use the data.
Next Stop ? Real Time!
My prediction is that 2012 will be the big real-time data year! One of the key points with social data is the real-time factor of conversations going on right here right now. Conversations from which you can draw insights on the reputation of your company, increase your consumer loyalty with real-time proactive customer service. Also, the conversations can be real-time leads that you can generate sales from here and now or they can indicate real-time how your new marketing campaigns get perceived &amp;#8211; leaving you with great opportunities to react, if you are ready!
The Buy In!
In my opinion, the most evident argument to get a buy in from the executive level is to present and state the possibilities in gathering the data &amp;#8211; in data, lies a value proposition that most executives know!
Using data is a strategic approach. So you need to have thought through about the ways to leverage and support your company?s high level objectives strategically, through the big opportunity that lies within gathering and mining in social data.

Are you into data? Do you have insights on how data can lead the way?
