            <title>Food crisis hits Yemen</title>
            <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/Newspakistanpk/~3/SkXl_WUJ7Uo/</link>
<description>According to a report, nearly 45% of the Yemeni people don?t have enough food for survival
This report was conducted by OXFAM, CARE and Save the Children. According to an estimate, about 22 million people in the country suffer from malnutrition whereas five million are in dire need of emergency aid.
In a country where almost 48% of the population is under 15, one in three children suffers from severe malnutrition. According to UNICEF, more than 267,000 children could die due to severe malnutrition. And a quarter of Yemenis are under debt.
?Unless an emergency humanitarian mission is established, Yemen will plunge into a food crisis of catastrophic proportions,? says director of Save the Children in Yemen, Jerry Farrell.
Humanitarians want to&amp;nbsp;take advantage&amp;nbsp;of the conference of &amp;quot;Friends of Yemen&amp;quot;, held in Riyadh,&amp;nbsp;Saudi Arabia&amp;nbsp;, to&amp;nbsp;call&amp;nbsp;on the leaders to&amp;nbsp;&amp;quot;intensify efforts&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp;to help&amp;nbsp;the Yemeni population, and&amp;nbsp;try&amp;nbsp;to avoid a
catastrophic humanitarian crisis &amp;quot;&amp;nbsp;&amp;quot;.
Though food is available in local markets, in much of the territory, the locals are unable to feed their families properly due to high prices and a severe economic crisis.
?Yemeni families have exhausted all their resources to survive the crisis,? according to Penny Lawrence who is the international director of OXFAM.

<title>M-Commerce is Future, Alternative Payment, Mobile Sites &amp; Apps Leading the Way</title>
            <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/WebimaxSEOBlog/~3/suHEIVAnYDw/m-commerce-is-future-alternative-payment-mobile-sites-apps-leading-the-way</link>
            <description>

TweetM-Commerce is Future, Alternative Payment, Mobile Sites &amp;amp; Apps Leading the Way was originally posted on the WebiMax SEO Blog
Consumers are heading online to do their shopping more and more and this has been shown in all the surveys and sales reports that are released by retailers and research firms alike. There is no argument being made for e-commerce to outright replace traditional in-store shopping, however, the future is clearly looking like one where shoppers do a large portion of their shopping online and this may be seen in some sectors or product categories over others.
An additional layer on the e-commerce trends though is the rise of m-commerce, e-commerce that is done on mobile devices. Smartphones are being used for everything from our communication needs, web searching, and picture taking, to music and with increasing frequency, our online shopping. Following the trends in the usage of both smartphones and tablets coupled with online shopping behavior, these two intersect making for a mobile-driven web shopping future. Always looking forward into this experience, research firm have released interesting statistics that shed light on what we can expect in the m-commerce world.
Alternative Payments Making a Difference
First, Forrester shares the results of their recent forecast of alternative payments in online shopping where they reported that payments other than debit or credit (e.g., PayPal, Google Checkout) account for 20% of all e-commerce transactions at present, and predict that number will rise to 23% by 2016. Alternative payments will represent $110 billion in e-commerce four years from now whereas today they account for $64 billion. These alternative methods, of which Paypal is the most popular at the present moment, may very well be the catalyst, specifically PayPal Mobile Express Checkout, that pushes mobile shopping over the edge to full take off.
The issue is that conversion rates are lower for shopping via mobile devices, as outlined in a recent Internet Retailer piece, but with the convenience that comes with such features like the Paypal Mobile Express Checkout that removes the process of form-filling, conversion rates are boosted. Analysts predict that much of online shopping will be done on mobile devices ten years from now and it appears features like this may allow m-commerce to turn the corner.
Mobile Sites and Apps
When SEO agencies, e-commerce consultants, and internet marketing agencies look to assist retailers with their online goals, one of the first things they do is to encourage mobile sites and apps because of the functionality they bring to the customers. Looking at both the US and French markets, there are notable figures that offer insight. In research from CCM Benchmark, a French tech company, almost half (45%) of the French travel companies and retailers included have a mobile site or app compared to 22% having the same during the first quarter of 2011.
CCM also offers that in both the US and French e-commerce markets, retailers who are beginning to branch into the sector are first looking to mobile-optimized sites rather than the apps. The sites can be easier and less expensive to develop than the apps and they also can run on all types of devices, something that a single app cannot do given the different operating systems (Apple&amp;#8217;s and Google&amp;#8217;s being the most popular).
Businesses need to understand the implications of m-commerce and make the appropriate decisions for their business given the nature of their products and customers. Regardless of these characteristics, however, businesses must embrace both online shopping and its trend towards mobile.

            <link>http://komment.dk/dansk-erhvervsliv-og-sociale-medier/</link>

<title>Appthority the new king of the kingdom ?</title>
            <link>http://shrewdgeek.com/2012/05/22/appthority-new-king-kingdom/</link>
<description>  Appthority the new king of the kingdom ? Mobile apps are proving to be dynamic software that everyone wants to get their hands on. Personal usage aside, agencies, companies, and businesses are finding themselves being presented with a multitude of apps which help improve their work. But what about mobile apps that are not endorsed by companies that are making their way into a corporation inadvertently? These phones bring with them loads of cell phone trackers, spyware, and other malware threats. As more and more employees begin to bring their phones and tablets into the office atmosphere, companies are being forced to examine the security risks which are present due to this. This is where Appthority comes in.   Cloud Based SecurityAppthority is a cloud based security provider which has been recently appraised with $6.25 million by Venrock and U.S Venture Partners. It is another one of the cloud based security vendors to have gained popularity recently (others include Mimecast) and works exclusively to improve enterprise security and dwindle down threats from mobile phone spy software. With the recent funding it has received it will now have a much stronger chance of becoming the foremost name in app risk management. What the platform actually does is it instantly and automatically identifies threatening behavior from mobile apps. These include both hidden and known malware/spyware, new malware/spyware which may assist in a company- wide attack, targeted attacks, the extracting of corporate data, and intellectual property theft. But the Appthority platform does not just stop there; after identification of the mobile app related security risks, it also grades them. In this way the company can make its own assessments on what fall under top priority risks and what do not. Security and risk assessment are provided hand in hand. The main aim is to make monitoring software for cell phones much harder for mobile spy apps. The best part about using Appthority is that integrates and works in a kind of synergy with the company?s other security providers. This way it manages to add its own features such as app reputation and risk analysis to the current mobile solutions such as Mobile App Management (MAM), Enterprise App Catalogues, and so on. Corporate Security NeedsOne of the security needs that have come up over the past are related to the corporate sector when it comes to the world of mobile apps. It simply is that there is a demand for companies and enterprises to be able to monitor cell phone activity that takes place during their office timings and within their premises. Companies feel that they need to protect themselves on all fronts, just as users must feel the same when it comes to protecting themselves from cell phone spyware. But more than just saving an organization from malware threats, Appthority also works to ensure data control and protection. Since company secrets are always a top notch priority when it comes to security needs, Appthority carries with it the ability to do that as well. Since it is a cloud based vendor, it is understood that it can easily watch over the enterprise and cover a world of apps in spite of the various platforms they may belong to. Even when employees change out the devices they bring to work (usually every six months or so), Appthority can assure that it is assessing the risky behavior of the mobile phone spy software present.   The ?mobile security ecosystem? is an infrastructure which if maintained allows optimum security and safety to users. But for that to take place, security providers must meet the demands of a growing technological work force. That and they must also provide the needed security to every level of an organization. A company is a multi faceted group as it is with levels of security needs. It seems that Appthority has come into the picture at the right time.Originally At : ShrewdGeek.com Appthority the new king of the kingdom ?

            <title>Ny undersøgelse forudsiger fremtidens e-mail tendenser</title>
            <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/BleauBlog/~3/7U0gp8r3Haw/</link>
<description>Vi står i supermarkedet, venter på bussen eller sidder i køen hos tandlægen.

            <title>FOR DE DOVNE ? MOBIL SUSHI</title>
            <link>http://elektronista.dk/apps/for-de-dovne-mobil-sushi/</link>
            <description>Af Sidsel Birkholm

<description>Mobile sales have declined over the course of one year in the worldwide market and the major decline was in the Asian market. A recent survey report from Gartner reveals the sales and shipment results in the first quarter of 2012 of the top ten major mobile phone vendors in the world. There was a decrease of 2% in sales, according to Gartner.
The major decline in sales was seen in the Asia/Pacific market where vendors failed to release their new handset in first quarter of the year, which is considered to be strongest sales period of the year in Asia.
This is the first time since Q2 of 2009 that the same period of the following year showed decline in sales. The total number of units sold last year was 427,845,700; this year the figures were down to 419,108,300 units.
?Global sales of mobile devices declined more than expected due to a slowdown in demand from the Asia/Pacific region,? Gartner analyst Anshul Gupta said in a statement. ?The first quarter, traditionally the strongest quarter for Asia ? which is driven by Chinese New Year, saw a lack of new product launches from leading manufacturers, and users delayed upgrades in the hope of better smartphone deals arriving later in the year.?
The Q1 results were staggering as the result of the year depends on sales figures from the starting quarter. In addition to a decrease in the overall sales of mobile phones, there were upsets in positions on the table. Samsung surpassed Nokia in shipments in Q1. The Korean company is the first to jump to the first position replacing the Finnish vendor for the first time in a long time.
Samsung shipped 86,567,600 units grabbing 20.7 percent of the market. The company?s sales last year were 68,782,000 units. Nokia rolled out 83,162,500 units this quarter with a market share of 19.1 percent. It showed a massive decline compared to 107,556,100 units from last year.
At third place is Apple with 33,162,500 units gouging 7.9 percent of the market. Following the iPhone makers are ZTE, LG and Huawei Device at 4th, 5th and 6th positions with 4.2, 3.5 and 2.6 percent market shares respectively.

<title>Planning Success with Builder Apps for Your iPhone</title>
            <link>http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/whatworksforbusiness/~3/XA9A68DUr_Q/</link>
<description>The most crucial task in building any new business start up, while often the most overlooked, is constructing a detailed business plan. Without a plan in place detailing your approach, your finances and your goals, any business venture is bound to end in financial ruin.
Thankfully, creating a business has never been easier than it is with all of the modern technology available to us; even your Apple iPhone can prove to be a valuable business partner.
If you&amp;#8217;re planning to launch a new business venture, here are four business plan builder apps for your iPhone:
1. Business Plan for Entrepreneurs
Launching any business scheme is a complicated process and business plans tend to be, by association, complicated themselves.
The Business Plan for Entrepreneurs iPhone app assists you immensely by breaking down the process into nine critical steps, helping you to be sure that you cover all of your bases when designing your business plan and envisioning the future.
Featuring not only business plan templates but a wealth of information as well, this app aims to educate would-be business owners with a companion iBook covering all of the basics. Once this information has been reviewed, you have access to examples of completed plans in order to better understand the look and feel of the details necessary to your business plan.
When you feel ready, willing and able to start integrating specific numbers and goals, blank templates covering marketing plans, budget planning and an overall business plan await.
2. Quickoffice Mobile Office Suite
Given the passion with which most people approach the launch of any new business venture, it is important to many future business owners to construct their business plan from scratch. When taking this approach, there are two types of files that you are absolutely certain to need: text documents and spreadsheets.
The Quickoffice Mobile Office Suite for iPhone allows you to view and edit these types of documents, whether they were created in Microsoft Office, Google Docs or any other base program.
With the full power of an office suite, this app can prove to be the most powerful business plan maker for the iPhone available, especially if you enjoy working with raw spreadsheets..
3. EverNote for iPhone
If the main goal of creating a business plan is to combine your resources, ideas and goals in order to come up with a viable, workable framework then being sure that you have constant access to your best and brightest ideas is of absolute importance.
Before diving into your official business plan, consider taking the time to brainstorm first, using the EverNote app to quickly record and review text notes, voice memos and photos while also syncing them directly to your PC for future reference.
During quieter times, use these golden &amp;#8220;eureka&amp;#8221; moments to help shape a detailed business plan based on your own individual wants and needs, embracing both the gritty numbers and the joy of turning your fleeting ideas into concrete results.
4. iPhone Analytics App
If your website is an integral part of the business you&amp;#8217;re planning, knowing and understanding your traffic and visitors is crucial. In the interest of keeping your business planning limited to your iPhone, consider the iPhone Analytics app to fill this need.
Giving you access to all of your Google Analytics data and presenting it in an attractive format on the small iPhone screen, this app offers 47 different types of traffic reports, allowing you to better wrap your head around where your business is on the web &amp;#8211; and where you want it to be.
