Jeg har længe haft lyt til, at anskaffe mig en hybrid med et loft på 17* som erstatning for min 4-wood som jeg ikke er specielt succesfuld med. På shortlisten var oprindelig en ny Cobra Baffler DWS som matcher de 20*, 23* og 26* hybrider jeg allerede har. Denne er imidlertid nogle år gammel og således ikke længere let at støve op. Alternativt har jeg kigget på Mizuno JPX 800 som ligner et godt alternativ – og hvis sandheden skal frem ligger der allerede sådan een i min indkøbskurv på Golfbuyitonline med custom specs. og det hele… MEN… PING har lige annonceret deres i2o serie og den ser mildest talt meget imponerende ud. Udover at byde på nogle af de egenskaber jeg godt kan lide som minimal til ingen offset og stadig en vis tilgivenhed ved slag der ikke er ramt perfekt – ja - så ser den mildest talt fantastisk ud i matsort finish. Det ligner et stykke no nonsens værktøj og jeg er helt sikkert på at jeg skal have et kig på den enten til en kommende demodag eller hos en dansk proshop i nærmeste fremtid.
