            <description>It is a new day &amp;#8211; a new year and it is time for us to move on &amp;#8211; to move forward. Another year has passed and yesterday is merely history &amp;#8211; tomorrow is the future  but today is a present. My advice to you today is: enjoy every second of it! <link>http://themeat.dk/2012/01/aap-rocky-pretty-flacko/</link>
            <description>Der skulle ikke gå lang tid før, A$AP Rocky besluttede sig for at sende sit første udspil ud i 2012.

            <title>A$AP Rocky: CEO Freestyle</title>
            <link>http://themeat.dk/2011/12/aap-rocky-ceo-freestyle/</link>
            <description>A$AP-kollektivet må siges at have fået momentum på det seneste, og her er det så den velnok mest kendte af dem alle, nemlig A$AP Rocky, der kan præsentere nyt i form af denne &quot;CEO&quot; freestyle. Som man efterhånden er begyndt at kende A$AP Rocky, byder denne freestyle på solide rim, der bliver kastet omkring i hurtig fart. Således er Rocky med til at fortsætte den stil, som han allerede har lagt for dagen, og det bliver bestemt interessant at følge ham i det nye år. Hør CEO Freestyle'n herefter.

            <title>Welcome to College</title>
            <link>http://thisisbandit.com/2011/12/welcome-to-college/</link>
            <description>
Many question the word college. College traditionally is an educational institution or establishment providing higher education or specialized professional or vocational training. In the modern day college is becoming about one thing, partying. And with the recent documentary being filmed called I?m Shmacked we can see how ridiculously fun and reckless some colleges can be.

The concept behind this I?m Shmacked documentary is to go to the 12 best colleges all across the United States and follow 1 student around for 2-3 days. The results are mind blowing. The greatest mixture between American Pie and Cops that anyone can watch and these are just the trailers.

The country long best college tour started in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the home of cheese steaks and The Fresh Prince, where they visited Temple University. Here they followed around Temple?s own Fresh Prince, Janson (who is actually a friend of a friend of mine). He toured them around Temple and Philly and ended the trailer with a sick Chiddy Bang Concert. Philly looked like a sick city but I don?t know if I liked Temple?s Campus overall. Check it out for your self:

Next the I?m Shmacked crew went to Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. There they followed around a sophomore named Hannah. Hannah seemed to show them a good time with a pool party and Syracuse?s Juice Jam with one of my favorite DJ?s, Avicii, as well as B.O.B. and Chiddy Bang. Syracuse on the other hand looked amazing but it does get really cold up there. And with the amounts of alcohol it seems like you can actually fade into darkness. Here?s the trailer for Syracuse:

Next was Morgantown, West Virgina, home of the University of West Virginia Mountaineers. I mean you can?t really talk school spirit without talking about West Virginia fans. The school spirit is definitely seen in the trailer where they followed around Dan and let the party get the best of them. Beer, beer and more beer is what this school seems to offer. Oh, and I forgot to mention the intense amounts of navy and yellow to represent for Mountaineers nation. Literally no sleep:

The next College needs an Alicia Keys and Jay Z song, well at least the city it?s in has one: New York University in the Greatest City in the World, NYC. I found this to be a surprise because NYU students aren?t known for their college parties and frat boy attitudes. But then again, a University in New York City has to be a blast. They shadowed Darian for one of the best weekends, Halloween. This trailer has a surprise visit from ASAP Rocky and Lil B.

The last trailer that is out as of right now is of my dream school. Michigan University in Ann Arbor Michigan. This trailer is the definition of college, well I don?t mean the traditional definition. They went to Mich for one of the best games of the season, Michigan vs. Nebraska. They found themselves at the games pregame with a raspy voiced young man named Justin. With clips from the football game to a house party that seems more like a club, Michigan seems like the place to be. The funniest part about this trailer was that I was suppose to be in Michigan that weekend and that?s why you get a quick screen shot of my friends Sam Album and Jordan Hill about 2 mintues and 35 seconds into the video. I could have been in this but instead I was taking a Physics Quiz (the other side of college).

But honestly what has college become? Has it lost its educational value and become the home of frat bros and naked women? I know for myself being a college student I see both the educational aspect and the non-stop drinking. State University of New York at Albany is my school and we have had our share of media coverage with last year?s Kegs and Eggs riots but I must say the University and the city of Albany has gone extra hard on security and pretty much stopping all the parties as well as canceling our events. I don?t think its fair to punish the entire student body for the mistakes by a hand full of students. A sophomore at SUNY Albany Ty Conyers agrees and says, ?College is seen as American Pie and nothing else and it?s because of the media.? But all in all college is changing by the minute but I?m here to remind everyone that the libraries are still filled every single Sunday night. And even though our school is canceling events, I must quote Roth when I say, ?I Love College.?

            <link>http://fourthousand.dk/you-better-recognize-that-muthafuckin-aap/</link>
            <description>

What is your next move?
?My solo project is due sometime in spring 2012. I&amp;#8217;m still in process of finding my sound and as an artist you have to look for that.?
How long have you been rapping and why?
?Been rapping since i was 8 or 9 with my brother. He has always been into music, old Dj Clue mixtapes, Styles P ? Ghost in the Shell and the list goes on. I have always liked the feel of it ? the beats, rhymes and basically the whole time it takes to make a rap.?
What inspires you?
?The rapper Reakwon, honestly.?
What does ASAP stand for and who came up with it?
?It stands for &amp;#8220;Always Strive And Prosper&amp;#8221; and OG members like ASAP Yams, ASAP Rell, ASAP Bari and ASAP Illz came up with the name 5+ years ago.?
Which brands do you wear besides Marino?
?To be honest ? I don&amp;#8217;t wear any streetwear unless it&amp;#8217;s Black Scale or Deadline.?
Do you have something to say to our readers and your danish fans?
?We love all our overseas fans, y&amp;#8217;all been showing us mad love since the beginning and we&amp;#8217;ll be seeing y&amp;#8217;all very soon!?

            <title>Hiawatha Trail i Idaho ? ugens rejsetip</title>
            <link>http://www.highways-usa.com/blog/hiawatha-trail-idaho</link>

            <title>Personal Report: ?What I did in NY?</title>
            <link>http://thisisbandit.com/2011/11/personal-report-%e2%80%9cwhat-i-did-in-ny%e2%80%9d/</link>
            <description>

During the last month or so, all the three of us have visited the &amp;#8216;big city of dreams&amp;#8217; on, more or less, vacation trips.
Personally I did a bunch of cool stuff, and here?s your chance to see what that was exactly?

As you might or might not know I do visit New York pretty often, so doing the regular tourist stuff as Empire State Building, Brooklyn Bridge etc., is currently behind me (if you?re going for the first time though, do it, it?s awesome).
This allows me to do less tourist stuff and enjoy the actual joys of living in a city like NY.

My main purpose of the trip was to run the world famous ING New York Marathon, so when I left Copenhagen Airport on Thursday last week I had a strange feeling of being very excited and extremely nervous at the same time? It was my first marathon, and I didn?t really have a clue about what could happen on such a run!
I arrived in Newark Thursday evening, and I was planning to just chill out as much as possible until the great run on Sunday? that didn?t quite happen.

When I go to New York, I always stay with my good friend Joel, and this time was no exception.
After dropping my things off at his place, we went out to meet his brother and have a few drinks at a café/bar in SoHo (no alcohol for me obviously).
It was a great way to settle down and once again feel home in the big city.

Friday was slightly more hectic.
After a long day of shopping and going to the running congress to pick up my number (at the same time as 20.000 other people) I met up with our friend Brendon for a cop of coffee. If you don?t know about him, he?s one of the guys we interviewed in our, still in progress, passion film project; ?Passion of the Craft?. He?s the creative director for clothing brand Supreme, and all designs basically goes through him before they are executed.
Most importantly, he?s a very nice and interesting guy? and a real runner!

We met at a very cool coffee place downtown (not giving up their spot), and I was fortunate enough to be giving all sorts of advice on running the marathon, and running in general, which calmed me down a bit. After a while his friend, filmmaker Jake Davis, joined us, followed by another friend of their friends and we ended up being four people enjoying a late afternoon Friday coffee at what seemed to be their main spot?

Later that night Joel, me and our NY-Based BANDIT intern, Armend, went out for some dinner. We chilled out at a diner downtown and took a cap to the Yotel where another of BANDIT?s kind friends, Vashtie, was having her regular Friday party with Q-Tip.
The last time BANDIT visited New York, we also went out with Vashtie, so our expectations were already set.

We came through and had a good time. I got the chance to say hello to some different people, while first Vashtie and then Q-Tip played some dope tracks to get the dance floor shaking!
After several drinks spilled on both me and Joel, and the party reaching a certain level of people going crazy on the dance floor, we chose to walk home to his spot, so that I could be ready for the big day Sunday.

Saturday was all about relaxing and eating. Joel and I woke up early and had some solid healthy breakfast. Afterwards we did some shopping, saw some football, went to see a movie and had lots of pasta for dinner where Armend joined us as well to wish me good luck. I went to bed ?early?, since I had to get up at 5am the following day to go to Staten Island?

In front of the public library at 6am, I met up with my dad, who was running the marathon with me.
Main parts of Manhattan was locked down for all traffic, and there were busses lined up all the way from 42nd str. way up past Rockefeller Center on 49th. It was still dark outside, and it was freezing cold. We got on a bus and went to Staten Island where all runners were gathered before the run. We sat there for a couple hours, while the sun was rising and the weather started to get warmer. Dunkin Donuts supplied some free coffee? and beanies.
My dad ran the Marathon with a solid moustache to support the good cause of ?Movember?, which is a concept fights for men?s health.

Now, I had pretty high expectations about my own performance for this marathon, thinking of the amount of practice I?ve been doing up until the Marathon. I was expecting and hoping for a time somewhere in between 3.40-4.00, but unfortunately it didn?t go that well.
What you might not know about New York is that it?s very uphill-downhill, which makes this marathon in particular one of the hardest in the world, and a tough one to start out with.
It all went great to begin with; the weather was perfect and the general feeling at the start line was amazing! We started out crossing the bridge from Staten Island to Brooklyn, while several helicopters were filming us from a very close distance. So far there were no supporters, but after running off the highway in Brooklyn and into where people actually live it went completely nuts.
I?ve been to a bunch of different sports events, but never experienced anything like this. The amount of people cheering, and the positive energy from the supporters was something you might only experience in the New York Marathon.
They weren?t cheering for anybody, they were cheering for everybody.

My dad and I ran with a good pace and everything felt great, there were plenty of people doing all kinds of crazy sh*t.
All the way supporters were cheering until we reached the Jewish area in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
From my understanding they aren?t allowed to make any sort of noise like clapping besides snapping their fingers. So it basically went from being very loud to complete silence.  This was definitely one of main cultural experiences during the marathon.
So, after running through all of Brooklyn (it?s huge!) we had reached the halfway point and on our way into the next borough. We quickly made it through Queens before we reach the absolutely toughest part of the marathon, which might have been what killed me at the end: The Queensboro Bridge&amp;#8230;
Now, the bridge itself isn?t too far, but the way up to the bridge is straight uphill, so when we entered Manhattan I definitely felt less powerful then earlier during the run.

Our time was still fine though and it seemed like I would reach my goal of doing the run in less then 4 hours, but then something happened?
When we reached 28km my legs suddenly shut down and I got cramps the weirdest places and therefore I had to stop up to stretch every 4-5 min. It felt like hell, but I took out my earphones and the audience carried me the rest of the way. It sounds so corny, but it?s actually very true. I finished around 4.24 or something, which I was very unhappy about when I crossed the finish line, but looking back I?m actually pretty proud that I made it through!

On Monday I felt like a very old man? but I still had stuff to do, cool stuff!
Even though my actual main purpose of the trip was to run the marathon, I still had something else to be, maybe even more, excited about; ?Watch the Throne? concert at Madison Square Garden.
Before the concert Vashtie was kind enough to buy me a couple drinks to celebrate that I actually ran the marathon.
She also hooked me up with some dope Violette t-shirts, check it out.

After having drinks I went to watch the throne, and on the way I got the chance to have a quick talk to A$AP Rocky.
He was thrilled that people in Denmark knew about him and his music, and he was generally very nice.
He wasn?t going to the concert, but to rehearsal, I call that dedication?

Well, I was going to the concert and even today I still have difficulties explaining people about this one in a lifetime experience.
The show lasted for somewhere around 2 hours and 45 minutes, and they actually went through almost everything you might have wished for.
Jay-Z was on his home court and that was pretty obvious! He smiled through the entire concert, which he normally doesn?t and well? they both killed it!
Christian went to the concert the day after me and fortunately he did record some pretty good video, which might give you a better idea of what we actually witnessed. Oh, and they performed Ni**as in Paris three times&amp;#8230;

After the concert Joel and me walked back to his place both completely hyped about what we just experienced. We agreed that Jay-Z was just on another level musically, but that not a lot of people are able to perform a show like Kanye!

The following day was the last day for me in NY&amp;#8230; for now. I said goodbye to everybody, got on the plane and left, which felt very wrong.
The last time we visited New York with the entire BANDIT team I felt a little disappointed because of the stores and the general lack of renewing there sh*t. This time NY changed my opinion completely. I didn?t even have time to visit all the stores I wanted, but everywhere I went I saw new cool stuff. It seemed like the city was going through a rough development the last time, which has now resulted in something better then I?ve ever experienced before.
NY, I?ll be back before you know it?
