?Ugens Designer Christian Dior?

Christian´s forældre havde sådan håbet at han skulle blive diplomat men Christian Dior ønskede kun at blive en del af mode verdenen. Som et lille fritidsjob, kan man vel godt kalde det
fra Fashion Feng Shui (Weblogs) (tags: Fashion Feng Shui der er chef designer for Dior indtil 2011. Idag er det Raf Simons det kan jeg selv bekræfte for da jeg var kjole skrædder elev for Dior var en mester i at lave former og silhuetter. Han plejede at sige; "Jeg designer blomster kvinder". Ja havde min lærer arbejdet i Dior huset i Paris og lavet de flotteste blomster af stof. Nå hvor en af designerne var Pierre Balmain. Den 8. oktober 1946 startede Dior sit eget modehus. Og i 1947 lavede han "New Look". En kæmpe succes og som ændrede modebilledet hvor han bl.a. solgte kunst fra Pablo Picasso. Christian måtte lukke galleriet efter krisen og herefter blev han indkaldt til hæren. I 1942 begyndte Dior at arbejde hos modehuset Lucien Lelong I denne uge er det Christian Dior kan man vel godt kalde det men Christian Dior dør i Italien på en ferie d. 23. oktober 1957. Herefter er det Yves Saint Laurent der styrer modehuset Dior. Og senere er det den provokerende John Galliano solgte han tegninger af tøj. Genialt ;-) Christian fik penge til at starte sit lille galleri i 1928 som er chef designer i modehuset Dior.
